Ministry of Culture is a clothing, waxed canvas bag, and accessories company that takes a holistic approach to fashion. Dedicated to the Slow Design movement, Ministry of Culture embraces traditional craft and folk art design techniques from around the world striving to elevate them through modern design to create our distinctive collection. In addition to our line of sustainable Hemp and Natural Fiber clothing, we reuse discarded fabric in our embellishments and block print our designs to alleviate chemical waste. Our unique brand of design promotes social consciousness through the quality and functionality of each piece.

Holiday Procrastinator Market, 11- 4 PM, Sat & Sun, dec. 21st and 22nd (Independence Visitor Center, 599 Market St., Philadelphia, PA)

This is an excellent opportunity to complete last-minute holiday shopping. A variety local craft vendors will be selling handmade goods that are perfect for those difficult-to-shop-for individuals! This will be my first time back selling at a market in Philly since before I left for the Peace Corps in 2017!

An annual fall festival celebrating local Vermont artists and makers. The event is also a fundraise for the Burke Chamber of Commerce with proceeds used to support economic growth in the community. Free and open to the public!

DC Bike Expo - 10am - 4pm, Saturday, September 27tH (Georgetown Park Building, Washington, DC)

An annual bike expo celebrating all things bike related! A great place to meet new people who love biking just as much as you do! You’ll find just about anything you’ll need to make you and your bike fresh for when you roll out with that new group of friends you’ll meet at the Expo too. There’s a group for everyone and we want to help you find yours (some walking and hiking groups will be on hand too)

An annual festival celebrating outdoor gear makers in Vermont. Free and open to the public!

Unique Market D.C.- 10am - 5pm, Saturday, April 6tH and Sunday, April 7th Union Market DC (Dock5 Space, 1309 5th St NE, Washington, DC 20002)

Skip the mall and shop small! Support local businesses and celebrate our 5th year in DC! Unique Markets hosts a curated selection of the best-emerging brands and artists, giving you the opportunity to shop their designs in person at this two-day pop-up event.

An annual winter arts festival showcasing over 75+ artists, makers, and vintage items right in the heart of Fairfax, in the Mosaic District. This will be the first time I will be slinging hats and clothing in the DMV area, so stop by and check it out. I’ll be sharing a booth with my good friend @betterthan jam, who will be bringing her brightly screen-printed clothing, textiles, and home goods!

2023 Leaf Blower Fall Classic - Saturday, Oct. 14TH (Cady Hill Trails @Ranch Camp in Stowe, VT)

MTBVT, in collaboration with Stowe Trails Partnership & Ranch Camp, is stoked to present Vermont's favorite autumn mountain bike tradition: the 12th annual Leaf Blower Fall Classic Mountain Bike Festival! This year's Leaf Blower is going down on Saturday, October 14th, and will be hosted at Ranch Camp on Mountain Road in Stowe. With amazing riding for all ability levels, awesome vendors, homegrown food, local libations, and live music, there is simply no better way to cap off the season than with this one-day community bike bash!

  • Miles of single track and remote party vibes

  • Ranch Camp HQ is hosting a catered cookout, a few local brews, music, and the requisite telling of tall tales around the campfire.

  • MTBVT will be hosting a must-attend remote party station complete with food and drink, tunes, and a photo booth

  • A vendor garden with loads of amazing stuff!

Dirt Church Brewery Pop Up - 3-7 PM, Friday, Sept. 23rd (East Haven VT)

Come sample some of the local North East Kingdom brews at our first Pop-up event at the Dirt Chruch Brewery, in East Haven, VT! We will be there from 3 - 7 pm slinging hats, waxed canvas belt bags, and our new collection of Recycled Fleece Backcountry hats and Hoodies.

2022 Burke Fall Foliage Festival 9 am - 3 pm, Saturday, Sept. 24th (east Burke, VT)

The Burke Fall Foliage Festival is back and better than ever this year with over 90 booths showcasing a variety of handmade crafts, foods, foods, and local organizations! Ministry of Culture will be there, booth 29 next to the old school house exhibit and conveniently located bathrooms. Get yourself some apple cider, maple kettle corn, and enjoy the parade…just don’t forget to stop by and try on a new hat while you’re at it!
